RECENT EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Fun Run 2022, May 25, 2022
On Wednesday, May 25, dressed in bright colors, sweatbands and racing bibs, more than 400 students raced around the school in a flash of colors while Principal Sean Satterfield, PE teacher Danielle McGrath, Superintendent John Buckey, Hoppy the Frog mascot and teachers and more than 100 parent volunteers cheered them on. The Fun Run 2022 raised more than 27,000 for enrichment programming.

Monster Mash October 22, 2021
The Marblehead Reporter shares that Halloween at the “new Brown School started off with a boo when roughly 950 people gathered for the school’s first Monster Mash on Friday, Oct. 22.” Activities at the Monster Mash included carnival games, a petting zoo, cookie decorating, donuts on a string, and the ever-popular dunk tank. Brown School Principal Sean Satterfield, Superintendent John Buckey and School Committee Chairman Sarah Gold all managed to go down smiling when they got dunked.
Fun Run May 26, 2021
Our Fun Run brought in $19,000 for our school enrichment programming. Students literally ran in circles Wednesday as part of the Bell/Coffin/Eveleth Elementary School Fun Run. Dressed in bright colors, sweatbands and racing bibs, students raced around the track in a flash of colors while Principal Sean Satterfield, PE teacher Danielle McGrath, Goldie, and teachers and parent volunteers cheered them on.
Virtual Dance Party January 28, 2021 6-7 PM
The Virtual Dance Party brought together nearly 200 students, teachers, and administrators. The event featured DJ MoT whose music inspired students, teachers and special guests Principal Satterfield and Superintendent John Buckey to dance to the beat. The Marblehead Reporter touted the event for bringing students and teachers together in the Bell, Coffin, Eveleth Community.
Holiday Giving Tree December 2020
Students and families jumped right in to spread the cheer and fulfilled more than 70 wish list items for children and families in our school community through the Holiday Giving Tree. The PTO also gathered and delivered a HUGE truck load of goods and toiletries to My Brother’s Table Food Pantry in Lynn to help people in need in our greater North Shore community.

Boo-Thru Halloween Event October 30, 2020 6 PM – 8 PM
It was a mystical evening on Friday, October 30 as more than 350 cars packed full of families drove through the snow-covered event and Marblehead firefighters handed out more than 800 goodie bags to kids.
