- Students are learning the new school Frogger anthem!
- First community meeting 11/17 @ 8:25 am.
- There will be one community meeting/month.
MONSTER MASH RECAP

MAGIC HAT UPDATE
Kate Whorf, PTO Magic Hat Representative
Next Brown School week at Magic Hat is the week of Dec 12. Our school always needs more volunteers. Magic Hat is a great place for people to go and shop for the Holiday Shop. You also get a discount when you volunteer. Also a great please for your donations.
TREASURER UPDATE
Molly Teets, PTO Co-Treasurer
- $30,000 in total revenue so far this year, with $15,000 coming from our allocation from Magic Hat Thrift Shop.
- Monster mash event ticket sales covered its costs.
- We have sold $2000 of spirit wear to date.
- Brought in $5,000 in donations from our contribution drive and from National Grand Bank to date. Thank you for your generosity.
- So far this year we have spent $25,000 – major expense categories include monster mash, teacher supply reimbursements, enrichment, welcome back events, spirit wear and teacher appreciation.
- We are working with our new tax accountant and expect to finish and submit our tax return in the next few weeks.
HOLIDAY SHOP COMMITTEE UPDATE

We are now at a min amount of donations needed for each child to purchase 5 items. We are in need of unisex tween, pet and wrapping donations. Sign up genius to go out tomorrow and will have specific volunteer requests.
TEACHER APPRECIATION COMMITTEE UPDATE

Nov 23: Fresh fruit cornucopia.
Dec 9: Shubie’s lunch for teacher/parent conference.
ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE UPDATE
Erin Noonan, Enrichment Chair
- Atlantic White Shark Conservancy came in Nov for our first all school enrichment.
- Beloved motivational speaker OOOCH is coming in December to give his talk on kindness for the whole school.
- We have an enrichment budget for preschool and will be adding new programs for those students.
- Also trying to get fun STEAM activities to come to the classroom for teacher guided activities
HOLIDAY GIVING TREE
Jess Chamberlin, PTO Co-Treasurer
Traditionally a Bell Program known as the mitten tree- Where community members are paired
up with other community members in need. We will also be collecting personal items to
donate to My Brothers Table. We are working on logistics for all that attend the school.
Mittens will be available for parents to take Dec 3rd and 9th. Please grab one and help
another in need.
SPIRIT WEAR SALES UPDATE
Karla Strobel, PTO Vice President
- Spirit Wear goal is to drive and Foster community spirit.
- Did well selling at Monster Mash, half of inventory sold.
- First time we have had school spirit wear in 4 years. 200 items between hats, sweatshirts etc.
- Next: Set up a table at the holiday giving tree table and parent conferences . Half was sold at Monster Mash.
- We are going to move the shop online in 2022 with MHD sports shop. Options for names to be put on the back of the spirit wear.
- Many teachers have shown great interest in Brown School spirit wear.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

- Yearbook Coffee Pond – event photography and class photos. Looking for someone to head this up. Great software that you get training on. Volunteer?
- Harvest of the Month (Nov. 17): Quick volunteer opportunity, right after drop off.
