Welcome back to school! We hope you had a nice summer break. Whether you’re a returning family or new to our school community, we want to welcome you and let you know how glad we are to have you with us! The Brown School PTO is excited to support our students, parents, teachers and staff throughout the 2025-2026 school year. We hope you’ll take advantage of the opportunities we provide to get involved by volunteering for events, attending meetings, joining committees, and contributing to fundraising initiatives.
What does the PTO do?
Our PTO provides financial and volunteer support for the Brown School community by:
- Funding enrichment activities tied to the curriculum, such as the Discovery Museums’ Traveling Science Workshops, Chinese Acrobat Li Liu, Harvest of the Month, and the on-site Brown Organic Garden Program.
- Organizing community building events including the Monster Mash at Halloween and the Holiday Shop in December.
- Supporting our incredible staff through appreciation events and funding for classroom supplies.
We encourage you to connect and get involved by:
- Attending our first meeting and volunteer coffee event on Friday, September 12 at 8:15 am.
- Joining the online family directory at brownschoolpto.membershiptoolkit.com.
- You must be registered in the directory in order to receive our PTO newsletter, which is full of useful information about school events and ways to get involved!
- Making sure you have an up-to-date CORI and fingerprints on file if you’d like to volunteer in the school. If you’re unsure of your status you can reach out to the main office by emailing brownabsent@marbleheadschools.org.
