The Brown School PTO will host our 9th Annual Fun Run to celebrate fitness and build school spirit!
The Fun Run is a fun event to encourage physical fitness, foster school spirit and raise money for the Brown Elementary School.
We need YOU! Parent and family volunteers help make this day a success for our students! Sign Up to hand out headbands, popsicles or help direct students on the course!

To celebrate being active, being together and spending time outdoors having fun! Our goal is to raise $20,000 for our school. NEW! Principal Maxfield and Manfredi have challenged our students to a fun doctor dodgeball game if our school exceeds our fundraising goal and hits 22,000 dollars! This is our ONLY PTO fundraiser of the year and FUNDS half our PTO budget for the coming school year. The Fun Run funds:
- Enrichment programs like hands-on science of music workshops and the traveling Whale Mobile;
- Outdoor garden lessons and garden supplies;
- Fun family events like Monster Mash, S.T.E.A.M. Fair, April Book Fair, and visits with local children’s author visits and,
- Teacher appreciation efforts.

Getting sponsored is optional but kids enjoy thinking of creative ways to raise money! This year we are again teaming up with The Get Movin’ Crew for our online registration and the ability for each student to create their own private fundraising webpage. It will make asking family and friends for donations so much easier!

Ms. Hall’s first grade class was the first in school to achieve 100 percent student registration. They earned a trip to INCHY the Book Machine! Every student in the class chose a book from the machine!
Fun Run prizes awarded for most individual donations, highest amount fundraised, donation from the farthest around the world, and top earners from every grade. Prizes include:
- A light up Micro Kickboard Scooter!, donated by Mud Puddle as our grand prize to the student who raises the most individual donations!
- Three Month Membership to NorthShore YMCA! Think summer swimming at the Y pools!
- SUP East Coast Style E-Foil Lesson!
- One week Yoga Camp from Yoga Loft!
- 10 Open Gym sessions from Burke’s Gym!
