Join the Brown School PTO by walking in the Christmas Parade for Magic Hat – Earn More Than $100 for Brown Just by Walking!
Looking for an easy way to help our school? Sign up to walk in the parade! The Magic Hat Thrift Shop, located in the bottom of the Vets Middle School, donates funds to support the local PTOs. The funds that they give us go directly to enrichment programming to pay for special opportunities and presenters such as our organic garden, The WhaleMobile, Mark Rothstein’s World of Jump Roping, Wingmasters, Ooch, and ArtQuest, and more!
The amount of funds we receive are based on our volunteer hours and we need your help to get more hours. You can always volunteer at The Magic Hat during the week, but an easy way to help out with small effort for big impact is to walk with the Magic Hat in the Christmas Walk parade on Saturday, December 2.
For each person that walks (children and adults) we’ll receive an 1.5 hrs of volunteer hours per hour that you participate. That translates to earning more than $100 per person for the Brown School just for walking in the parade!
Please sign-up to walk below and we’ll follow-up with specific details as the date gets closer, but you will likely be asked to meet on Front Street around 11:30am for 11:45 parade start. Strollers and wagons are welcome. Thank you for supporting the Brown School PTO!
