School Supply Lists Per Grade

August 23, 2021 by Karla Strobel

It’s an exciting time of year for our students as they return to school. Here are the school supply lists per grade for those in the Brown School Community – Eveleth, Coffin, Village.

A message from the teacher teams about supplies:

Please feel free to use things from last year or around the house–no need to rush out and buy new items! We will send out a complete supply list in October after we move to Brown School.

In addition to these personal desk items students will need to bring in a daily snack and water bottle and lunch (or plans to purchase lunch). We recommend keeping a personal hand sanitizer in the lunch/snack box.

Kindergarten (Eveleth School)

  • 1 pencil box (labeled with name)
  • 2 3-pk small, white glue sticks
  • 1 3-oz. container of play-doh (no sparkles, please 🙂
  • 1 package washable markers
  • 1 package “Twistables” crayons or colored pencils
  • 1 package Ticonderoga Brand #2 pencils (sharpened)
  • 1 sketch pad (please label with your child’s name)
  • Change of clothes (in a gallon zip-lock bag labeled with your child’s name)

First Grade (Coffin School)

A Pencil Box (labeled with name) containing these items inside:

  • 16 pack crayola crayons
  • Markers (thick or thin)
  • Scissors
  • 12 sharpened pencils
  • 2 big glue sticks
  • 2 (fine tip) expo dry erase markers & small eraser (or sock)

  • Dry erase board eraser or clean sock
  • 1 pair of inexpensive earbuds/headphones
