Next week is our volunteer week at Magic Hat! Every hour you earn for Coffin and Eveleth equals funds for our kids’ enrichment programs.
If you have an hour to spare, please either sign up to volunteer or just swing by anytime the shop is open.
HOURS: Wed 11/6, Thurs 11/7, or Fri 11/8 from 10am-2pm and Sat 11/9 from 9am-1pm.
*Please note that Magic Hat will be closed next Tuesday 11/5 for inventory*
LOCATION: Magic Hat is located in the basement of Veterans Middle School. The entrance is on the backside of the school.
If you can’t make it in to volunteer next week, here are some other ways to earn hours for our schools:
*Do a load of laundry for the Magic Hat
*Donate a small piece of furniture
*Reminder that you can bring your children (between 5-16) and they can earn hours while you volunteer!
As always, please remember to sign in under Bell/Coffin/Eveleth when you are there to ensure that you get credit for your time and earn money for our schools!
It’s one of our biggest sources of funding! The Bell and Coffin PTOs received the following amounts from the 6 month period April 1-September 30, 2019:
Bell: $12,393.54
CGS: $11,088.21
We received this money because our school communities met the 180 hour volunteer requirement at the Magic Hat. This money goes directly to fund enrichment programs for the students, via the PTOs. Thank you to all of our volunteers!
